Location: Drake Cemetery is located approx. about 400 metres down a dirt road off the Bruxner Highway behind the old police station and courthouse approx. one kilometre before the town of Drake coming from Casino. 

Details: The cemetery is situated in a paddock and in some places is overgrown.  Some of the graves are damaged and overall the cemetery is neglected, however, some of the graves have wire and pipes around them to protect them from the cattle that graze freely on the land. 

I visited and photographed Drake Cemetery in July 2005. I made digital images of all visible inscriptions and added several known burials to the list for which there are no surviving grave markers. Digital images for the headstones that do exist are available by email by clicking the banner below.
