Most of this cemetery was cleared in 1985, the land was deconsecrated and sold to a private buyer who constructed a home upon it.

Only two headstones were in good condition and these were relocated to the rear of the current Echunga Uniting Church located on the corner of Adelaide Road and Marianna St. Echunga.
