Francis, eldest son of Lieut. John Isaac, R.N. Born London 19 May 1812, died Scone, N.S.W. 20 July 1884, aged 72 years. “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.“ St Matthew, Ch 5 v 8.

George, son of Francis and Lilly Ann Isaac. Born 27th February 1866, died 24th October 1866, aged 8 months.

Lilly Ann, wife of Francis Isaac. Born at Belfast 1st February 1824. Died at Sydney 9th September 1908, aged 84 years. “The Lord supplies our daily wants”

Sacred to the memory of Thomas Dangar,  Born Lampen, St Neots, Cornwall, England, 30 June 1807. Arrived in Port Jackson. Sydney 13 March 1825.  Died at Lavender Bay, North Shore, 14 March 1878.  Aged 70 years. “May his Soul rest in Peace.

Erected to the Memory of our brave hero brother, PRTE J.H. Cumberland. No 837. 2nd Battalion H.Coy. 1st Infantry Brigade.  Who died 7 May 1915 from wounds received in action at the landing at Galipoli, 25th April 1915.  Aged 21 years.

“We thought that radiant soul was meant for greater things_We shall be sure.  No life is short that’s nobly spent.  No Heroe’s death is premature.”

Also to the Memory of our dear hero brother PRTE O.J. Cumberland NO 1087 2nd  BATT HCOY 1st INFTY Brigade.  Killed in action at Lone Pine 8th AUG 191915.  Aged 26 years.

“He died the noblest death a man may die Fighting for God, and Right, and Liberty and such a death is immortality.”

Sacred to the memory of Matthew Dodd.  Late of Morland, Westmorlamd, England.  Who departed this life May 15th 1853 aged 70 years.

 

CREAMER

 

In Memory of Thomas Creamer, who died at Scone on the 27th May 1853, in the 34th year of his age.

 

Thomas Creamer joined the staff of St Luke’s school in 1852, as assistant teacher to the principal James Smith.  On the 27th May 1853 Creamer aged 33 years died and his widow succeeded him as assistant teacher.  Smith resigned shortly after to become clerk of petty sessions at Scone, leaving the school in the hands of Mrs Creamer, the school thrived and in 1856 seventy children were enrolled.  Twenty years later the school closed when the then headmaster Mr Roberts resigned and became headmaster of Scone Public School which opened in July 1876.
