Monarto Presbyterian Church and Cemetery A history of the church and cemetery was published in a 1996 heritage research paper by SA Department of Environment and Natural Resources. The church is now a private residence.
According to the heritage report the church was built in 1872 on section 448, Hundred of Monarto. Section 448 is now section 93 Hundred Monarto; and the church is sited on a very small section 94 which is excised from section 93. The heritage report details nine unmarked graves. First person to be buried was John Laws who died 1878 aged 4 years. Then were buried Rev Alexander Law with his wife and their children, Miss Anders and the twin infants of Mr and Mrs G Patterson. It was not registered as a burial ground.
